Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1006983 Composed by Johnson K. Gao. Arranged by e-Pllination Inc. Contemporary,Halloween,World. Score. 178 pages. Johnson Gao #3372607. Published by Johnson Gao (A0.1006983). The title of Miserable and Sorrow. (Pearl Harbor after attack) is a new name to the song previously called as Wondering along a Raided Harbor. Since it did not specify which harbor, you can say it is Pearl Harbor; or, any harbors or cities after bombardment in a war, such that Hiroshima, Berlin, etc. The theme of the song is to express the miserable and sorrow feeling caused by a war, and induce people to hate the war. The song was collected in Gao's Harbor Music. which contains 12 pieces of songs: Sun Rises from the Japanese Ocean (Tokyoâs Morning); Night Light Cast over the Huangpu River, Shanghai; Sea Breeze over the Harbor of Qingdao; Gulangyu (Short Version and Chinese Lyrics); Gulangyu (Long Version with more Instruments); Water Ski Show at Darling Harbor, Sydney; Blue Hong Kong Waltz Bon Voyage; Wondering along a Raided Harbor (A Waltz that Blames the War); Suzhou â The Eastern Venice (Sitting in a Boat across many Bridges); A Salute to the Cruiser Aurora on the Neva River (St. Petersburgâs Evening) and A lullaby for the Statue of liberty. Page 99 to 125 is this song with a sound track attached. Other music sheets of 11 songs are as a bonus to this current music sheet purchase. Totally 174 pages.æ²æ å ®æå·ï¼çç 港襲æå¾ï¼ çæ¨é¡æ¯ä»¥åè¢«ç¨±çº æ²¿èçªè¥²æ¸¯å£çæ¨å¿µ çææ²çæ°ååãæ¢ç¶æ²ææå®åªå港å£ï¼å¯ä»¥èªªæ¯çç 港ï¼æè å¨æ°çä¸è½ç¸ä¹å¾çä»»ä½æ¸¯å£æåå¸ï¼å¦å»£å³¶ï¼ææçãéé¦ææ²ç主é¡æ¯è¡¨éæ°çé æççè¦åæ²å·çæ覺ï¼ä¸¦å¼èµ·äººåè¨åæ°çãéé¦ææ¶èå¨ é«æ°æµ·æ¸¯é³æ¨ ä¸ãå ¶ä¸å å«12é¦ææ²ï¼å¤ªé½åèµ·æ¥æ¬æµ·æ´ï¼æ±äº¬æ©æ¨ï¼; ä¸æµ·é»æµ¦æ±å¤ç; é島港ç£æµ·é¢¨; é¼æµªå¶¼ï¼ç°¡é«ä¸ææè©ï¼; é¼æµªå¶¼ï¼é·çæ´å¤æ¨å¨ï¼; æå°¼é令港水ä¸æ»æ°´å ´; èè²é¦æ¸¯è¯ç¾è²; ä¸å¸é¢¨é ; ææµæ¼ä¸åçªè¥²ç港å£ï¼æ責æ°çè¯ç¾è²ï¼; èå· - æ±æ¹çå¨å°¼æ¯ï¼åå¨è·¨è¶è¨±å¤æ©çè¹ä¸ï¼; åæ¶ ç¦æ²³ä¸çå·¡æ´è¦è´æ¬ï¼èå½¼å¾å ¡å¤æï¼åèªç±å¥³ç¥åæç±æ²ãéæ¯ä¸é¦éæè²è»çææ²ã 11é¦ææ²çå ¶ä»æ¨èä½çºè³¼è²·ç¶åæèççè³ãå ±174é ã

Carson Cooman: Sonata for Tuba and Piano (2007)

Piano,Tuba - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.533704 Composed by Carson Cooman. Concert,Contemporary,Standards. Score and part. 38 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #3039001. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.533704). Sonata for Tuba and Piano (2007) was commissioned by and is dedicated to tubist MarkNelson for premiere at the 2007 Southwest Tuba and Euphonium Conference. The work isin three movements, each using the same basic musical material. Throughout the work, there is an integration of the total chromatic spectrum (represented through row-likeconstructions) with triadic and tonal elements, particularly connected to the interval of aminor third. The first movement, Speaking of Sunsets, is bold and dramatic throughout. The musicalmaterial is subjected to a series of circular paths that loop back on themselves until themovement ends. (The title refers to American poet James Tateâs poem Never Again theSame and also Charles Wuorinenâs musical setting of that text.)The second movement, Build Me a Garden, takes its title from an original song I overheardwhile planning this work. It sung by a homeless man who was then sitting on the banks ofthe Charles River in Boston, Massachusetts. His song (bearing both textual and musicalresemblance to various folk songs and African-American spirituals) spoke of hopes anddreams:Build me a garden, far âcross the seaBuild me a garden, a place I can beThe water is wide, the journey is long.Iâve put all my sorrows into this song. The movement opens with a slightly modified version of the song, which is developed overthe course of the movement. Connections are made between the first movementâs materialand the pentatonic melody (with its opening intervals of minor thirds). The third movement, Rising at Dawn, is a moto perpetuo. The ideas from both previousmovements are put together in new, dancing combinations. Coming out of the darker firsttwo movements, this movement continually seeks places of joy. The dance breaks down, and a recollection of the first movement leads to a bright coda.

Piano Solo - Advanced - Digital Download Composed by Isadar. Contemporary Classical, Neo- Classical, Activities and Games, Recital, New Age. Sheet Music Single. 9 pages. Published by Mainya Music Publishing (BMI)
Contains:<br> "Throwing The Dice"<br> - taken from the Isadar solo piano collections, "Active Imagination / Reconstructed" (also available on SMP) <br> <br> Sounds like: Liz Story's ("Things With Wings"), Philip Aaberg, George Winston, early Windham Hill solo piano artists<br> <br> Transcribed by: David Shenton ( https://www.shentonmusic.com/ ) verbatim to the sound recording<br> <br> Note: A slightly different version of this composition is also heard on the Isadar album, "Reconstructed" (Produced by Will Ackerman)<br> <br> Album & Songbook Review by: Kathy Parsons<br> <br> I love this CD! It constantly amazes me how many outstanding composer/pianists there are out there - especially in relation to the few who are highly (commercially) successful within this broad genre. I would say that Active Imagination definitely belongs near the top of the heap. Isadars style is original, and his pianism is excellent. He lists his inspirations as Liz Story, Keith Jarrett, and Bill Evans, and I can hear traces of all three in his playing, but find his composing and playing styles to be uniquely his own.<br> <br> The first three tracks are lively and upbeat (Active Imagination, Throwing the Dice, and Where the Wild Things Are) with an easy, jazzy, improvised feel. The meter changes are fascinating, and the bluesy beat on Wild Things is infectious.<br> <br> From there, the mood seems to gradually darken and become more introspective. Waiting is a beautiful, flowing mood piece full of questions and a lovely melody line. Isadars cover of Liz Storys Wedding Rain is wonderful - this is a piece I often work on with my advanced students, and everything about Isadars interpretation of the piece seems right without being a carbon-copy of Lizs recording.<br> <br> Feu Follet (the spook light) has a nice, easy flow with a strong sense of mystery; it also has an unusual rhythm that lightens the mood and adds a bounce. Uncertainty is cooler and more aloof, but gorgeous in its flowing introspection - that it ends with a major chord, feels like the soul-searching has had positive results. Love Chaconne is the closing track, and is the longest and most abstract piece on the CD. The left hand plays a repeated pattern while the right hand goes off in several different directions (one of the primary characteristics of a chaconne). Beautiful in its simplicity, this is the only track that seems to contain an element of pain and sorrow, but never dissolves into melodrama.<br> <br> Active Imagination is excellent from start to finish and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes solo piano with substance and complexity, but is still accessible, melodic, and rhythmic. Bravo amundo!<br> <br> Active Imagination Sheet Music Collection is the companion songbook to Isadars 1999 CD release, Active Imagination. The CD was one of my favorites for the year when I reviewed it for the print version of Wind and Wire magazine, so I was really looking forward to the sheet music! Transcribed note-for-note by David Shenton of ShentonMusic.com (I proofed about half of the book, so I can attest to how accurate it is!), it is up to you to make the music sound as close to the CD as you want or to interpret the music and make your own statements with it.<br> <br> One thing that really stands out about this collection is how much FUN it is to play. The rhythms are interesting and catchy, and the mood in several of the songs is playful and upbeat. This is especially true with the title song, Throwing the Dice, Where the Wild Things Are, and Feu Follet (the spook light). Waiting, Love Chaconne, and Uncertainty are slower, more introspective, and a bit moody, making this a sheet music collection that contains a variety of moods and styles. The only piece missing from the book is Liz Storys Wedding Rain, but the sheet music for that song is available in some of Ms. Storys own collections.<br> <br> Early-advanced players should have no trouble with this music. The timing on some of the songs is a little bit tricky, but if you count it as you are learning it, it will fall into place.<br> <br> If you havent heard the CD, check it out, too! This book is available here from SMP, isadar.com and amazon.com. Highly recommended!<br> <br> Isadar is an artist on both Enlightened Piano Radio & Whisperings Solo Piano Radio, the latter featuring some of today's biggest names in solo piano music, including Ludovico Einaudi, David Nevue, Brian Crain, Kevin Kern, Robin Spielberg, Michele McLaughlin, Philip Wesley and over 300 more...<br> <br> Also available as sheet music in physical songbooks, digital downloads, as well as software for Yamaha Disklavier player-pianos.<br> <br> For more information, visit his website at: http://www.isadar.com

Piano Solo - Digital Download SKU: A0.1029428 Composed by Taylor Kroff. Contemporary. Score. 113 pages. Listening Heart, LLC #4890651. Published by Listening Heart, LLC (A0.1029428). Mevlidi Sherif Symphony ~ in English Divine is beautiful and loves what is beautiful. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) Our heartfelt prayer is that this music serves to awaken people of all religious traditions to the sacred musical treasures of Islam and that it contributes to interfaith harmony. CarolAnn Barrows & Taylor Kroff The Mevlidi Sherif, the finest expression of reverence for Muhammad (pbuh), forms an essential part in the religious instruction of most Turkish minds. We hope that this new symphony will foster an interest and understanding of the Muslim soul, even for many who have little direct contact with the world of Islam. Considering how Christians feel about their Christmas carols provides some understanding of what the Mevlidi Sherif (or mawlud) means to Muslims. Over 500 years ago Süleyman Ãelebi, from the Great Mosque at Bursa, wrote the Mevlidi Sherif (then entitled Vesiletuân-necat) so that Turks would have access to the magical, mystical story of their beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), which had previously only been available in Arabic. Over the centuries this epic poem has been recited and sung in Mosques and in homes; on countless occasions of rejoicing and sorrow, such as births, weddings, house blessings, graduations, and especially to celebrate the Night of Power and the Birthday (mawlid) of Muhammad (pbuh). Some consider it to be the most frequently recited poem in the world. In 1942, as an act of interfaith and goodwill, Mr. F. Lyman MacCallum, a Christian missionary who was born in Turkey to missionary parents, translated into English this epic poem and published it in a journal dedicated to promoting East/West understanding. This was a remarkable artistic feat as MacCallum stayed true to the traditional Turkish poetic meter, mathnawÄ« of fââilâtün fââilâtün fââilün, as well as holding fast to the authentic meaning of the original text. In 2015, Dr. Timuçin ÃevikoÄlu, from Ankara University in Turkey, discovered MacCallumâs English translation of this most beloved poem. With the intention to help those in the west better understand the very heart of Islam, he invited sacred music singer, Ms. CarolAnn Barrows from Maui, Hawaii, USA to be the first person to ever sing the Mevlidi Sherif in English. He asked her to compose music that would appeal to western sensibilities. Ms. Barrows interviewed many composers to assist her. It wasnât until she heard from Mr. Taylor Kroff from Austin, Texas, U.S.A., that she knew sheâd found the right person for the task. Using digital technology they were able to work together, even though thousand of miles apart. They amended and re-translated the text of the original English version of the poem and composed the Mevlidi Sherif Symphony ~ in English. The recording is now available online all over the world. This music was born out of our desire to help non-Muslims appreciate the love all Muslims have for their Prophet Muhammad (pbuh); to create greater understanding and peace among nations. We are not suggesting that anyone change their faith, but rather that greater world peace will be achieved by understanding and accepting the faith of others. We pray that this music will serve to remove the boundaries which divide different religious faiths by bringing to full light the underlying wisdom with which they are all united.
